Cancellation Fee

Your hair appointment at Bamboo Hair is very important to us.

Before each appointment, our team invests time and preparation to ensure you receive the best possible service. When you book with us, the salon treats your appointment as a verbal contract, and that time is reserved exclusively for you.

Please understand that when appointments are forgotten or cancelled without sufficient notice, we lose the opportunity to offer that time to another client, including those on our waiting list. This has a significant impact on the business.

For this reason, please be advised that the salon will require a cancellation fee at the time of booking. If you are unable to attend your appointment, we respectfully ask that you contact us as soon as possible to avoid losing your cancellation fee. On days when the salon is closed—such as Sundays, Mondays, bank holidays, or during Christmas shutdown—please email us, and we will reschedule your appointment once we reopen.

To make things easier, we can take the cancellation fee over the phone, saving you a trip to the salon. Card details are not stored on our computer system.

We have delayed introducing a cancellation fee policy for as long as possible, but missed appointments and last-minute cancellations have become increasingly frequent. To protect the business, our staff, and our loyal clients, this policy is now necessary.

A 50% cancellation fee will be required to secure any appointment. This fee will be taken at the time of booking, and the appointment will not be confirmed until payment has been received.

Cancellation fees can be transferred to a new appointment if you provide at least 48 hours’ notice that you need to cancel or reschedule. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the fee becomes non-refundable. If your stylist is off sick, the fee can be transferred to another appointment time of your choice.
